Lindau, Germany
Lindau is a town on Lake Constance (also called Bodensee) in Bavaria, Germany, known for its old town, on an island. In the harbor are a Bavarian Lion statue and the stone Lindau Lighthouse, with lake and mountain views. On the harborfront Seepromenade, 12th-century Mangturm is a former watchtower with a pointed, tiled roof. Near restaurant-lined Maximilian Street, the Gothic Old Town Hall has a painted facade.
